The tour will include the visits of;
St. Peter’s Castle: The Castle of St. Peter the Liberator of the Order of the Knights of the Hospital of St. John of Rhodes - to give it its full, comprehensive title - is Bodrum's acclaimed landmark. Over a period of six centuries it has served as a military garrison, a compound enclosing a tiny village, and even as a fortress prison. Today it houses one of the world's finest museums of nautical archaeology.
Myndos Gate: Located in the west of the city, this gate functioned as one of the entrances to the ancient city of Halicarnassos. It consisted of two monumental towers and an inner courtyard that led to the city.
Ancient Theater: This large theater can seat an audience of 13,000. The stage area has recently been excavated and the seats have been restored. Today this ancient theater is again being used as a concert venue for famous performers. |
