Perge: The impressive ruins of the ancient Greek city and the capital of Pamphlia are located just 15 kilometers from Antalya. While there is a wealth of historical remains to see here, the theatre, memorial fountain, city gate, agora, baths and gymnasium especially stand out. Perge was famous for its temple of Artemis and for being the home of the ancient Greek mathematician, Apollonius.

Aspendos: Known as the best-preserved theater of antiquity, Aspendos can accommodate an audience of 15,000. Nearby are well-preserved ruins of the basilica, agora, and  an imposing Aqueduct.
